The Hamilton Township Board of Education is composed of nine members elected for three year terms on a rotating basis. The board operates through a system of standing ad-hoc committees. It strongly encourages the involvement of the community in the education of their children. Hamilton is unique in being one of a small number of districts having non-voting student representatives to the Board of Education. Normally the Board holds a public agenda meeting on the third Wednesday of the month with the business meeting on the fourth Wednesday.
